About Soultale
This is the author's own archive of Soultale, a saga published on Wattpad as SOULTALE - DEFINITIVUS and built on UNDERTALE. It holds every published chapter, a wiki built by reading them back, and a place kept for you.
Where it is written
Wattpad is where the story is written, and where a correction is made. This site follows. A tool downloads every chapter Wattpad reports as changed, and the site is built from what it downloads. Nothing is retyped here, so the two copies cannot quietly drift apart, and the one in front of you is the current one.
The books are SOULTALE - DEFINITIVUS [PT. 1] and SOULTALE - DEFINITIVUS [PT. 2]. They are one story, numbered straight across both.
What this site adds
A serial read a chapter at a time needs things a serial does not give it. There is a wiki of every character, place and system, each entry citing the chapters it comes from. There is a search that reads inside the chapters rather than only their titles. And an optional account keeps your place, so a book put down on one device opens at the same line on another.
Only a finished act is published. The archive says which, and the site is built to leave the rest out, so an act still being written cannot appear in a chapter list, in the feed, or in the search. What has changed here, and when, is on the news page.
Who writes it
Soultale is written by Stiven Gjekaj, who publishes as n1cetry on Wattpad. The story, this archive and this site are one person's work, and all rights are reserved.
What is Soultale?
Soultale is a fantasy saga in fifteen acts, published on Wattpad as SOULTALE - DEFINITIVUS and read here. It runs from the battle before the world began to a boy at a school who does not yet know what he is. 321 chapters are published so far.
What is Soultale built on?
UNDERTALE, which is the property of Toby Fox. Soultale is a transformative work, and the elements that come from UNDERTALE stay with their owner. The saga itself, its cast, its world and its 321 chapters are Stiven Gjekaj's own writing, and the rights reserved here cover that part and claim nothing beyond it.
Where should I start?
At chapter 0, which opens Act 0, The Zero Of Creation. The acts run in order and each one begins where the last ended, so there is no other way in. The front page starts you there, and once you have read anything it offers the place you stopped instead.
Is Soultale finished?
Not yet. This site holds fourteen of the fifteen acts. The rest is still being written on Wattpad, and a new chapter appears here after it appears there, so the archive follows the story rather than leading it and never runs ahead of it.
How long is Soultale?
About 440,000 words across 321 published chapters, which is roughly 30 hours of reading at an average pace. The chapters themselves are short. Each one says how long it takes before you open it, and so does each act, so you always know what you are beginning.
Is Soultale free to read?
Yes, all of it, with no payment and no account. An account is optional and does three things: it keeps your place across devices, it carries your reading settings, and it lets you leave a comment. There are no advertisements, and nothing is held back for one.
Is this the same as the Wattpad version?
Yes. Every chapter here is downloaded from the two Wattpad books rather than retyped, and it is downloaded again whenever Wattpad reports that the chapter changed. Wattpad is where the story is written and corrected. This site is where it is read.
Who wrote Soultale?
Stiven Gjekaj, who publishes as n1cetry on Wattpad. The story, this archive and this site are one person's work. The wiki is written by reading the chapters back, entry by entry, and each entry cites the chapters it comes from rather than working from memory.
